Lines, Angles and Symmetry Practice Tests
These Grade 4 Math practice tests help students identify lines, line segments, rays, angle types, and relationships between lines. Students also use lines of symmetry to describe matching halves of shapes.
Skills covered
- Identifying lines, rays, and line segments
- Recognizing parallel, intersecting, and perpendicular lines
- Classifying acute, right, obtuse, and straight angles
- Using angle measures in degrees
- Finding lines of symmetry in shapes
- Applying geometry vocabulary to real-world examples
How to use these practice tests
A line extends forever in both directions, a ray has one endpoint, and a line segment has two endpoints. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees, a right angle is 90 degrees, an obtuse angle is between 90 and 180 degrees, and a straight angle is 180 degrees. A line of symmetry divides a shape into matching mirror halves.
